Traces in the dashboard
How to read trace timelines, interpret latency, and share findings with your team.
Trace list
The Traces page shows recent activity for the active project. Filter by status, time, or text to narrow incidents. Click a row to open the waterfall.
Timeline view
Spans render in start-time order with nested children. Expand slow spans to see whether time went to IO, queueing, or model compute.
Comparing traces
Open two traces in separate tabs when investigating a regression — align stages by name and compare durations and payload sizes.
Sharing
Copy the trace URL for teammates who have project access. For external stakeholders, export summaries or attach screenshots rather than sharing raw API keys.
